Twelve students Bagged Scholarship Awards

A member of the Federal House of Representatives, Abubakar Lado, representing Suleja/Gurara/Tata Constituency of Niger State, presented scholarship to 12 students in his constituency to study nursing, midwifery and physiotherapy at the NOIDA International University, India.

The scholarship, according to Lado was meant to enhance more medical expertise, in order to have adequate health personnel in his constituency.
In his statement, during his campaigns, he went round all the polling units and most of the complaints he received were on healthcare delivery.
He also pointed out that the scheme, would be an annual event.
The lawmaker, who said that the beneficiaries were selected based on merit, urged them to be focused on their studies and ensure they were good ambassadors of the country.
One of the beneficiaries, Miss Maryam Talatu, who expressed delight over the scholarship and promised to study hard to make the sponsor, her parents and others proud.
