NPC COMMENCES 2015 EDITION OF EDUCATION SURVEY




The National Population Commission has announced the commencement of the 2015 National Education Data Survey.
The survey, like the National Demographic Health Survey, takes place every five years.
The current education survey, which started on Monday, May 11, the commission said, would end on August 14.
The commission had carried out similar exercises in 2004 and 2010.
The NPC Chairman, Chief Eze Duruiheoma, who spoke at the beginning of the exercise in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, on Monday, said the survey was to generate information on the educational status of the Nigerians.
The NPC Director in the state, Mr. Adeniyi Fadairo, represented Duruiheoma on the occasion.
