(PIXS):THE BURIAL OF THE MOTHER OF THE PAST VICAR, ST.JOSEPH DE WORKER CHAPLAINCY, REV. FR MATTEW UDOBI



The burial of late Mrs. Patience Udobi (Nee Njako), the mother of the past vicar of St. Joseph the worker Chaplaincy,  Rev. Fr Matthew Udobi, was held at St. Gabriel catholic church, Ifitedunu.

 The holy mass started around 10am and was celebrated by Most Rev. Jonas Benson Okoye, the auxiliary Bishop of Awka diocese.

The mass had about 50 priest in attendace, from different parts of the country and also the chaplain Rev. Fr Christain Umeojilinanka and the current Vicar, Rev. Fr. Anthony Ezeokeke, repping the Chaplaincy family.

The student body, strongly represented by the NFCSers, were also present to stand in solidarity with their former vicar..

 The mass also had parishoners from Madonna parish Agulu,  were Rev. Fr Matthew currently works..other well wishers were also present to bid Nee Njako farewell as she sleeps with the Lord..

The mass ended about 2pm and was followed by interment of her corpse..It was a sorrowful event, as all was left weeping and morning our mother and grand mother..

Its our prayer that her soul rests in the Lord...

Rest in peace Nee Njako...
Rest in peace Nee Fada...
