Two students of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) have emerged winners of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Essay Competition
The students outperformed about 200 others who sent in their entries from different institutions across the country. The topic of the essay was “Expanding employment opportunities for Nigerian youths: The self-employment imperative.”
The winners Abdulazeez Muhammad Bashir a 200-Level student of the department of Combined Law and Abdulkareem Abdulhakeem a 400-Level student of History and International Relations went home with N125,000 and N100,000 respectively, they also went home with a Samsung Galaxy Tab each.
The winners were presented their prizes during the 46th CIPM Annual Conference at the International Conference Centre, Abuja. In the same vein two students of the university, Alao Idris and Abdullahi Tosin won prizes at the competition last year.
