Immunization For Corps Members Posted to Bauchi And Yobe State




The 2014 Batch A members of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, deployed to Bauchi and Yobe states are to be immunized against cholera and cerebral meningitis prevalent in the hot season.
The NYSC members are currently undergoing their orientation programmes at the Adult and Non-formal Education Institute, Kangere in Bauchi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
This was made known by the Coordinator of the NYSC, in the state, Mr Nuhu Kwaghe.
Mr. Kwaghe explained that the vaccination was aimed at ensuring that the youths remain healthy and free from the deadly diseases through out their stay in the states.
He spoke yesterday during the swearing-in ceremony of the corps members in the state.
His words, ‘’the NYSC management in the state has concluded arrangements with the state ministry of health to immunize the corps members before the end of their orientation course at the camp against the two diseases.”
